HTML <param /> tag

Definition

The <param /> tag is a self closing tag used within the </object> </object> element to define parameters for the embedded object.

Required Attributes

name - specifies a classname for the element allowing you to apply the style of the predefined class to the content.


<param name="name" />

Optional Attributes

type - specifies the content type of the parameter.


<param name="name" type="text/html" />

value - specifies the parameter value.


<param name="name" value="aValue" />

valuetype - specifies the type of the parameter value.

Common Attributes

id - specifies a unique id for the element allowing you to apply the style of the predefined id to the content.
